Funeral service for James Ray Smith, 55, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 12:00PM at Peck Funeral Home with Tom Watson officiating. Burial will be at Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith died September 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 15, 1962 in Morgan County to James Donald Smith and Martha Faye Baldwin Loosier. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Smith and his step-father, Raymond D. Loosier.

The family will also accept donations made in Mr. Smith’s memory to United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville/Tennessee Valley.
