Mr. L C GrahamL.C. Graham, 80 of the New Canaan and Hopewell Community, passed away Friday September 7, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mr. Graham was born February 14, 1938 in Marshall County to Genarl M. Graham and Mammie J. Yarbrough. He worked in construction as a carpenter until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, rabbit hunting with his beagles, going out to eat and woodworking. He loved family reunions, spending time with family and friends and enjoyed life.
Mr. Graham was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He is survived by his daughters-in-law: Linda Graham and Heidi Graham; a son-in-law: Greg Tidwell; his grandchildren: Lisa Kirby, Adam Graham and Reed Tidwell; his great grandchildren: Dylan Wallace, Gage Kirby, Chassi Kirby and Emma Graham. He was preceded in death by his wife: Dean Graham; his sons: Michael Graham and Victor Graham; his daughter: Sharon Graham Tidwell; his brothers and sisters: David Graham, Vernon Graham, Alvis Graham, Alvin Graham, Dessie Culver Baker, Faye Atkins, Essie Lee Thompson and Odell Murray.
Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Monday September 10, 2018 at New Canaan Baptist Church with Brothers: Jerry Burgett and Kenneth Smith, officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Bonville, Kenneth Putnam, Kevin Hyatt, Arthur Dyson, Richard Maze and Mark Edwards.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Wallace, Adam Graham, Dennis Bravo, Ronald Kelley, Don Kelley, Jimmy Miller, Lance Green and Johnny Hallman.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. Monday September 10, 2018 prior to the service at New Canaan Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, The University of Alabama – Birmingham 1720 7th Ave. Birmingham, Al 3529
