Mrs. Margaret Louise Bowers Tucker, age 87 of Athens, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Tucker was born on August 8, 1931 in Limestone County to Clinton Clifton Bowers and Bithy Gates Bowers.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by one daughter, Shelia Tucker Reynolds of Athens, AL; two sons, Stanley Tucker (Wanda) of Athens, AL and Steve Tucker (Charlotte) of Lester, AL; one sister, Ozell Vining of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Wendy Tucker McGee of Madison, AL, Daniel Tucker (Julie) of Minor Hill, TN, Holly Tucker Easter (Joel) of Lester, AL and Sarah Rose Reynolds of Athens, AL; great-grandchildren, Tyler McGee, Savannah McGee, Brady McGee, Addie Tucker, Ryan Tucker and Jude Easter.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. She owned and operated Tucks Country Curl.
Services for Mrs. Tucker will be at 11:00AM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Daniel Tucker, Warren Glass and Lance Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6:00-9:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
The pallbearers are Tony Vining, Ricky Vining, Chad Vining, Jonathan Bowers, Steve Pressnell and Jimmy Lannom. Honorary pallbearers are Joel Easter, Tyler McGee and Brady McGee.
