SHEFFIELD-The City of Sheffield will celebrate northwest Alabama’s contributions to World War I on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at The Village School located at 206 Chickamauga Street, Sheffield beginning at 10 a.m.
Numerous historical presentations on the project’s community impact, organizations and community’s patriotic contributions to World War I will take place in the historic Village School Auditorium built by the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps. This program will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Seating is first come—first served. Program sponsored by: Sheffield Historical Commission.
