John Lilley, 75, of Cherokee, AL, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at his residence. John enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching and feeding deer. He was a member of the Iuka Church of Christ and a member of the Iuka Masonic Lodge #94 F&AM. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Lance Foster. Interment will follow in Barton Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mikey Shea, Dwight Pharr, Jim Perkins, Wayne Martin, Howard South, and Henry Terry. Honorary pallbearers include Dale Williams, Larry Sherill, Buddy McAnally, and Jimmy Clifton. Visitation is scheduled from 5pm until 9pm, Wednesday, September 05, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra Lilley; his daughter, Kimberly McDuffy (Tracy); his mother, Bertha Lough Lilley; his brother, Brian Lilley (Carol); and his granddaughters, Kasey Huggins (Jordan) and Katlin McDuffy. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Lilley; and his daughter, Kelly Lilley. Memorials may be made in John’s honor to the Iuka Church of Christ or the Dwight Pharr Scholarship.
