Marcus Jermaine Weakley
FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the murder of Patton Shipley on June 10, 2018. The Grand Jury of Lauderdale County has indicted a suspect in this murder:
“Marcus Jermaine Weakley, 40 was arrested over the weekend for murder.
His arrest stems from the shooting death of Patton “Huggie” Shipley on June 10, 2018 on Long Lane, in the West Florence Area.
Weakley was indicted by a Lauderdale County Grand Jury last week and turned himself in over the weekend. Weakley is currently confined at the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.”
