Jimmy Wayne Pharr, 64, died Friday, August 31, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Belmont, MS to Leonard and Dorothy Mae Cleveland Pharr. He was a truck driver and was a veteran of the US Army.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 2, 4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Micah Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife-Debra Pharr of Belmont; three daughters-Alice Schnapka (Michael) of Berlin, Germany, Adrain Lynch (Chris) of Belmont and Stephanie Massey (Brandon) of Dennis; six grandchildren-Finn Schnapka, Gavin Lynch, Garrett Lynch, Carson Massey, Mariam Lynch and Avery Massey; three sisters-Hilda Moore, Sharon Reeves (Phillip) and Barbara Hall (Jerry) and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-Jackie Pharr.
Pallbearers will be Gary Davis, Joel Garrison, Shane Stephens, Jeff Stephens, Ronnie Eaton and Lee Pounds. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Cashion, Joe Lahna, Austin Deaton, Jonathan Nunley, Bruce Deaton, Donald Cleveland, Tim Burton and Dr. Rowland Roberson.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 2, 2-4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
