Debra Aline Roberson, 64, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away August 28, 2018. Visitation will be today, August 31, 2018 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with the service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Rudy Guess will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Debra was a graduate of 1972 from CVHS in Cherokee. She earned her Nursing degree from Chattanooga State Technical College. She worked with Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance in Chattanooga for 20-plus years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Gladys Todd; and son, Todd Layne.
She is survived by her daughter, Tallie Davis (Nathern); grandchildren, Timothy Parker, Tristen Parker, Taylor Backus and Austen Layne; great-granddaughter, Jaycee Backus; sister, Shelia Carpenter (Jim); nephews, Jamie Carpenter and Drew Carpenter (Lauren); and great-niece, Madison Carpenter.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Carpenter, Drew Carpenter, Timothy Parker, Tristen Parker, Jim Carpenter and Nathern Davis.
Memorials can be made to Maud CP Church Cemetery Fund at 3950 Allsboro Rd, Cherokee, AL 35616.
