Jeanette Tomerlin Ogea of Pulaski passed away on Tuesday, August 28th, 2018, at Maury Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Pulaski on November 7, 1944 and was 73 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Jeanette was an outpouring of love to all those who met her. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Pulaski. She was retired from Alsup & Associates Insurance in Pulaski.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 30th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Pulaski.
Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 31st at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church, 408 South First Street, Pulaski, Tennessee with Tony Gomillion and Doug Plumlee officiating.
Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church, 408 South First Street, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm Edward and Mabeleen Mitchell Tomerlin.
She is survived by her husband, George S. Ogea of Pulaski
Daughter, Lynette (Bob) Augestad of Georgia
Son, Philip Ray (Kelly) Vernon of LA.
Daughter, Tammy (Barry) Holt of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Trey Birdsong of GA. Kathryn (Sam) Chambers of PA. Mary Beth Patellis of GA. Kristi Lin (Amardeep) Samra of England. Georgia Lee Vernon of LA. Trenton Baumeister of LA. Allyssa Baumeister of LA. Amelia (Justin) Owens of VA., twins, Joshua Vernon and Matthew Vernon of LA, and Nathan, Stephen (Catherine), and David Augestad of GA.
Great-grandchild, Tate, Aiden, Collin, and Blake.
Sisters, Joyce Gunter, Carolyn Shelton, Nancy (James)Teeples, and half sister Debra Tosh all of Pulaski.
Brother, Thomas E. “Sonny” (Frances) Tomerlin of NC. and half brother, Michael (Brenda) Tomerlin of Pulaski.
Several nephews, nieces and many, many friends also survive.
