Doris June Weece, 85, of Ardmore,AL died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her home. She was born on Friday, June 30, 1933 in Prospect, TN, to the late Aaron Weece and Essie Wallace Weece. Ms. Weece was a life long resident of the Ardmore area, and a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters,Kathryn Weece Anderson, Ruby Weece Rolin, and Odell Weece Smith; and three brothers, Jim Weece, Woodrow Weece, and Billy Weece.
Ms.Weece is survived by her nieces, Cathy Worsham, Elkmont, AL, Vicky Jones, Pleasant Hill, TN, Sherry Davis, Elkmont, AL,Christy Hall, Ardmore,and Amy Heflin, Harkers Island, NC; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Prospect, TN.
