M.L. “Sonny” Brown, age 84, of Sulligent, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 3:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Bro. B.J. Mills to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.

“Sonny” was born on June 29, 1934 in Washington County, AL to the late Cal Brown and the late Eula Cargile. He attended Sulligent High School. Sonny retired from Hyster. He was a member of Sulligent First United Methodist Church. Sonny enjoyed hog and deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
