Florence High School Receives 100+ New Recycle Bins

FLORENCE-The City of Florence Recycle Center is excited to announce that 100+ Recycle Bins were delivered to the Florence High School Friday, August 17, 2018.  The students in Florence High School’s new Service Learning class will be launching a new program with bins throughout the school.  These bins will dramatically increase their efforts.  They will collect paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, and cans.  The new bins have specialized lids and signs to prevent contamination.  They were funded by the Recycle Grant Fund from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.
