Becky Eddleman Brown – Obituary

Becky Eddleman Brown passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 15 @5:30 AM at Shepherd’s Cove In-Patient Facility with her beloved husband of 47 years by her side. Becky was born September 21, 1946 in Cullman, AL. She attended Fairview High School and received her nursing degree from Calhoun Community College. She began work at Guntersville Hospital in 1972 working in all departments. She was Director of Nursing at Marshall Manor Nursing Home and then Albertville Nursing Home. She then was Surgery Nurse for Dr. David Billue, and later retired from the Marshall County Health Dept in 2006. After retirement, she performed contract work with the State of Alabama doing wellness screening at the county schools and Government agencies. Becky was preceded in death by her father Olin Eddleman and mother Evie Thrower Eddleman of Cullman. She is survived by her husband, Harold Brown; daughter, Lisa Witcher Folsom (Ellis) of Cullman; sons, Chris Brown (Sonya) and Patrick Brown of Guntersville; grandchildren, Lindsey, Laura, Will, Finley and John Gunner and great-granddaughter, Ansley. Funeral services will be led by Rev Patrick Hammett. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Marshall County.
