THE SHOALS-AIDT will be offeringLeadership Skills I, II and III at the Shoals Center for Business & Economic Development, 20 Hightower Place, Florence, Alabama. Please see the course descriptions and dates offered below.
Leadership Skills I — is the recommended first course for first-line, team leads and/or new supervisors. The class is offered in a 2-day format. There is a comprehensive test given after the class. If passed, the exam offers the credential of “AIDT Certified Leader I”. It is designed for employed Alabama citizens currently in leadership positions.
Leadership Skills II — is a follow-up course to Leadership Skills I, and includes more advanced topics of supervision. The class is offered in a 2-day format. There is a comprehensive test given after the class, and if passed offers the credential of “AIDT Certified Leader II”. LEADERSHIP SKILLS I MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO TAKING LEADERSHIP SKILLS II.
Leadership Skills III — is the newest class in the Leadership Skills series. It is recommended for those who have previously attended Leadership Skills I and II. It is a one-day course that focuses on a variety of the latest leadership topics. There is a comprehensive test and if passed offers the credential of “AIDT Certified Leader III”.

February 2019
Leadership Skills I (Two-Day Course)
February 19-20, 2019 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 2019
Leadership Skills II (Two-Day Course)
April 23-24, 2019 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The cost is $35.00 per person to attend any of the two-day classes. The cost includes lunch and snacks on both days.
