A Memorial service for Gene Taylor, 79, will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Bates officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Taylor died on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at River City Center. He was born June 23, 1939, in Ohio to Vernon Clayton Taylor and Lucille Marie Welch Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Army Veteran, was a Church Council member in Bradenton, Florida and was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge. He graduated from Findley High School in Findley, Ohio. He was employed by Honeywell as a quality control coordinator prior to his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Linda Kay Schiltz and Carol Taylor.
