Funeral services for Tina Lorene Burns, 74 of Rienzi, MS are set for Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 11:00am at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 10:00am until service time at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Burns was born November 14, 1943 in TN and passed from this life on August 13, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a homemaker and a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Jerry Burns of Rienzi; daughters, Tina Darlene Thrasher of Rienzi and Karen Ann Duncan and husband Larry of Kossuth; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren ; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs. Burns is preceded in death by her son, Michael Wayne Burns; father, R. D. Ridge; mother, Clarissy Daniels Ridge; brothers, Hubert Ridge, Johnny Ridge and Roger Ridge; sisters, Irene Rednour, Rosie Howard, Christina Cassidy and Carolyn Riser. Bro. Ray Bennett and Dr. Kara Blackard will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Tina Lorene Burns.
