Mildred W. Drake, 90, of Owens Cross Roads, AL, passed away Monday. NAECU (Huntsville Teachers Credit Union) was fortunate to have Mildred as a dedicated employee until her retirement. She was an active member and leader of Big Cove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Drake was preceded in death by husband, Robert William Drake; parents, Zachery Taylor Warren and Willie Moon Warren; grandson, Christopher Warren Labarge; and brothers, John Thomas Warren and Woodrow Wilson Warren.
Survivors include daughter, Janis Drake Pennock (Bill); grandson, John Robert Labarge (Mary Kay); granddaughter, Aleia Pennock; great-granddaughters, Taylor and Sydney Labarge; sister, Opal Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Thursday at Big Cove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery with Rev. Ed Herring officiating.
Memorials may be made to Big Cove Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Multiple Sclerosis or cancer research.
