Ms. Barbara Ellen Gray, age 70, of Arab, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at her residence.
Ms. Gray was born on January 21, 1948 in Mt. Pulaski, Illinois to Ivan Leimbach & Phyllis Houghtling Leimbach. Ms. Gray had lived in Arab the past 10 years formerly of the Morgan City area. She enjoys cooking, walking, watching jeopardy & loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Ms. Gray was a member of Brindlee Mtn. Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, L.D. Gray II, Joseph Arriaga; daughters and son-in-laws, Kay Cryer & Tony Bloomfield, Rebecca Gray & Joshua Jones, Amber Lahaiatis & Stamatios, Beth Rosenburg & Keith, Kathi Hoover; sisters & brother-in-laws, Karla Bidleman, Kathleen Emerson & Bob; host of grandchildren & great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Vince Reed, officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan City with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
