Tera Amerson Hamby – Obituary

Tera Amerson Hamby passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in Lawrenceburg. She was born on May 28, 1936 in Leggtown, Alabama and was 82 years old.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved working with her flowers and vegetables in the garden. She cleaned businesses and would set with the elderly in Pulaski.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 14th from 3:00pm until 6:00pm followed by the funeral service at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
A graveside burial will take place on Wednesday, August 15th at 2:00pm in the Antioch Cemetery, Elkmont, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Hamby, parents, E. F. and Ruth Carr Amerson, brothers, Robert, Forrest, and Edgar Amerson and sisters, Emma Jean Smith, Brenda Kennemer, Virginia Lauderdale and daughter-in laws, Cathy Hamby and Carlene Townsend.
She is survived by her,
Daughter, Janice Marie (Jerry) Morgan of New Johnsonville
Son, Larry Gene Hamby of Pulaski
Son, Billy Wade (Lori) Hamby of Petersburg
Grandchildren, Michael Wayne (Julie), Becky (Charles), Bryan, Monica and Jeremy, grand-grandchildren, Seth, Savannah, and Kathy Lynn, Gabriel, Aiden, and Israel.
Several brother’s, sister’s, nephews, nieces and friends also survive.
