Funeral service for Marie Garrett, 83, will be Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Bellview Cemetery . Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garrett died on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born March 16, 1935, in Morgan County to Oscar E. Legg and Elsie Smith Legg. She was formerly employed by Industrial Uniform and retired after 21 years of service. She was a member of Tunsel Road Baptist Church. Preceded her in death was her husband: Mack Johnson, her parents, four brothers: Palmer Legg, Cecil Legg, J.D. Legg and Wayne Legg and six sisters: Ilene Legg Bates, Mary Jane Legg Hale, Magratha Legg Andrews, Stella Legg Skelton, Linda Legg Parker and Josephine Legg James Trauter.
Survivors include:
her Husband, Thurman Garrett.
