Whitney McNalley Lamp, 35, passed away August 11th, 2018 at her home in Decatur, AL. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 13th, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur, AL. A private Family burial will be on Tuesday August 14th. Whitney was born on February 5th, 1983 in Decatur, AL to Ricky and Gigi McNalley. She graduated from Austin High School and attended the University of North Alabama, where she received a Masters Degree in Finance.She was married to Stuart Lamp in 2007 and they have two beautiful children Jack, 9 and Sophie Paige, 6.They were members of Central United Methodist Church. Whitney was a wonderful stay at home mom who loved arts and crafts and always enjoyed spending time doing projects with the children. She loved flowers and painting. She frequently told her children, “You’re Beautiful, You’re Smart, and You’re Loved.” She is survived by her husband and two children, Dad and Mom, Ricky and Gigi McNalley, two sisters, Andrea Gerwin(Brett) with four children Adelaide, Hugh, Eleanor, and Edward, and Sophie Gillette(Zach) with one child, Mac. Her Grandparents, Paw Paw and Nana(Jack and Betty Gilchrist) and Uncles, Aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by Grandparents(James and Dual McNalley).
