Mattie Earline Whitlock, 94, of Tuscumbia passed away Friday, August 10, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ed White officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mrs. Whitlock was a native of Colbert County and a member of Valdosta Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Whitlock; grandchildren, Shannon and Wesley Whitlock; a sister; and several brothers.
Mattie is survived by her son, Ralph Whitlock; daughters, Jeanette Norman, Joyce King, Martha Stout, and Ruby Raper all of Tuscumbia; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Perry Raper, Sean Raper, Jon Phillip Raper, Jay deGraffried, Paul Norman, Jr., and Jonathan Bratton.
