Willie Louis Pride – Obituary

Mr. Willie Louis Pride let his earthly home for his heavenly home on August 4, 2018.  He was born on March 29, 1941, to the late Bettie Mae Gibson.

He confessed his love for Christ at an early age and united with Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Cherokee, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memory;  wife, Inethey Petty Pride; 3 sisters, Martha Magee of Cherokee, AL; Allean (Chaise) Thompson of Huntsville, AL; Marilyn (Royce) Malone of Sheffield, AL; 1 brother, Gerry Roberson of Atlanta, GA; 3 sister-in-laws, Nina Pride of Cherokee, AL;  Jeanetta (Freddie) Burwell of Huntsville, AL; one aunt, Lula Long; one brother-in-law, Mylum (Claudia) Oates of Cleveland, OH; one sister-in-law, Eululia (Leroy) Marshall of Cinncinatti, OH.  He  leaves behind 8 nephews and 8 nieces along with a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, 6-7:00pm, Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL.

Funeral service for Mr. Pride will be:

12:00pm, Saturday, August 11, 2018,

Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Cherokee, AL

Rev. Ronald Thompson, officiating

Burial in Nazereth Cemetery, Barton, AL

The body will be placed in church at 11:00am.

The public viewing will be Friday, 9:00am-8:00pm.
