Funeral Services for Lester Lonell Carden, 90, of Cullman will be held Wednesday August 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Scott Sessions officiating. Interment will follow at Bethsadia Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Carden passed away on Monday August 6, 2018 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 9, 1928 in Cullman to Odis & Jewell Tubbs Carden and is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vivian Onzell Carden; granddaughter, Stephanie Carol Long; brother, James Carden; and sisters, Barbara Yarbrough and Frances Campbell.
Survivors include four children: Harry (Judie) Carden, Bruce (Deena) Carden, Phillip (Vicky) Carden and Delwin Burdette; eight grandchildren: Melissa Novalis, Kimberly Burdette, Jeanna Jackson, Christina Smith, Mitchell Carden, Courtney Lambert, Hanna Carden and Haley Carden; thirteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.
