Rebecca Dale Letson, age 77, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, August 03, 2018 at her residence.
Dale was a member of Frankfort Road Church of Christ. She was a kind and caring woman, who loved her kids, her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Sunday, August 05, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 06, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don McGee officiating. Burial will be at Piney Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie & Viola Maroney; sister, Dot Binseel; and brothers, O’Neal Maroney and Charles Maroney.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 49 years, Ralph Letson; children, Cassey Letson (Chris Pearman), Monica Letson; children of the heart, Johnny Grissom, Krista Grissom Stanley; grandchildren, Chris Letson, Chasity Berry, Mayson Pearman, John Grissom; great-grandchildren, Hadley, Daniel, Camp, and Westlynn Berry; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The pallbearers will be Chris Letson, Chris Pearman, Jason Swindle, Tim Walker, John R. Grissom, and Login McDougal. The honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Grissom and Bo Stanley.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice, and to Heather, Tish, Melanie Patterson, Pat Maroney, and Paula Walker for your love and care of our mother during this time.
