Ray Byram – Obituary

Ray Byram, 94, died Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka, MS.  He was born in Belmont, MS to James Lee and Ada Mann Byram.  He was a salesman for many years.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 6, 5 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Bill Burcham officiating.  Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his daughter-Linda Jerden of Prentiss County; four grandchildren-John Jerden (Maria), Jerry Wayne Jerden Jr. (Teresa), Julie Jerden Scruggs and James Byram; ten great-grandchildren-Jessica Scruggs, James Kyle Scruggs (Briana), Emily Scruggs, Avery Jerden, Jared Jerden, Sarah Jerden, Peyton Jerden, Josephine Jerden Alexander Jerden and Victoria Jerden; two great-great grandchildren-James Scruggs and Destiny Scruggs and one brother-R.C. Byram.

He was preceded in death by his wife-Kathleen Byram; one son-James Rayburn Byram; his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be James Kyle Scruggs, James Owens, Abelino Garcia and Jerry Wayne Jerden Jr.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
