Jane Willoughby Wheeler – Obituary

Mrs. Jane Willoughby Wheeler of Pulaski, passed away Saturday morning, August 4, 2018. She was born in Giles County on April 10, 1926 and was 92 years old. Mrs. Wheeler was a member of Cool Springs Church of Christ. She was an active Member of the Bodenham Home Demonstration Club, Meals on Wheels, and the Giles County Senior Citizens.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, August 6, 2018 in the chapel of Bennett-May–Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
The burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery.

A native of Pulaski, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Barnett Wheeler. Parents, Nathan Lee and Lela Mae Englett Willoughby. Sisters, Edna Archer, Elizabeth Yokley, and twin Jean Martin. Brothers, David Willoughby, Edward Willoughby, Thomas Willoughby, Norris Willoughby, and Robert L. Willoughby. Grandchildren, Melissa Ellen Bradshaw Sherrill and Joseph Tyler Wheeler.

Survivors include daughters, Beverly Johnson and husband David, Connie Bradshaw and
husband Herb; sons, Randy Wheeler and wife Donna, Lester Wheeler and wife Ginger, Tracy Wheeler and wife Teresa; brother Alvin Willoughby; grandchildren, Mary Sumpter Lapinski and husband Mat, David Johnson III and wife Lisa, Captain Trey Bradshaw and wife Captain Hollie Bradshaw, Samantha Wheeler, Lindsey Wheeler Powell and husband Heslie, Hannah, Ashley and Colby Wheeler.
Great-granddaughters: Bailey Johnson, Ansley Johnson, Linley Johnson, and Molly Jane Sherrill;
Sisters in Law; Patricia Wheeler, Deloris Willoughby, and Lou Willoughby.
Several loving nieces and nephews also survive.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Jane Willoughby Wheeler.
