Allen Ray Cook – Obituary

 Allen Ray Cook, 86, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018,at ECM Hospital, Florence, Alabama. A native of Arkansas, Mr. Cook had lived in the area for the past 63 years. Retired from Reynolds, Mr. Cook was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Fox Trap Church of Christ, Littleville, Alabama.
Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Pinkard Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Services will begin at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Andrew Myhan officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Surviving Mr. Cook are his wife of 63 years, Eloise Dotson Cook; son, Mark Cook and wife Vickey; three grandchildren: Whitney McCartt and husband Jon, Emily Myhan and husband Andrew, and Wesley Cook; great grandchildren: Charlee Rae McCartt and Addie Jane Myhan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Coy and Myrtle Peterson Cook; brothers, Coy Cook, Jr. and David Cook; and sisters, “Sis” Cavaniss, Peggy Baker, and Joan Baker.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
