Barry Don “Catfish” Pierce, age 64 of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Tuesday evening July 31st, 2018 at Tennessee Southern Regional Hospital Pulaski. He was born on February 27th, 1954 in Giles County.
Barry Don was the Maintenance Supervisor at the Pulaski Housing Authority for 42 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was an avid golfer and won numerous championships at Hillcrest Country Club. Barry Don loved farming, shooting pool, The University of Tennessee sports programs and was a graduate of Giles County High School Class of 1972.

Visitation will be Friday, August 3rd, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 11:00am on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski.

Barry Don was preceded in death by his parents William Edward “Red” and Elizabeth Pearl Martin Pierce.

He is survived by
Son, Barry (Brandie) McQuilkin of Summertown.
Daughter, Dawn McQuilkin (Joel) Wray of the Brick Church Community
Brother William G. “Bo” (Lavonne) Pierce of Knoxville, Tn.

Sister, Martene Pierce (Jeff) Hatfield and of Pulaski, Tn.

Grandchildren, Morgan McQuilkin, Andrew Newton, Brook Newton, and Jake Wray.
Nieces and nephews, Rebecca Pierce (Rudy) Furman of Knoxville, Tn. Chris (Steffany) Hatfield of Pulaski, Tn. and Sam Hatfield of Pulaski, Tn.
Partner of 25 years, Pam “PJ” Durbin of Pulaski and daughter, Shannon Durbin and grandchildren Justin Dickey and Holley Wise.
Barry Don’s current and former special work family at Pulaski Housing Authority.
