Raymond McCarley – Obituary

Raymond McCarley, 76, died Friday, July 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 30, 1941 in Hodges, AL and was retired from Sunshine Homes where he worked in the cabinet shop. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

 

Services will be Saturday, July 28, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jerry Humphries and Bro. Wayne Logan officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

 

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years – Doris McCarley, Vina, AL; four children– Brent McCarley and Mark McCarley (Vicky) all of Vina, AL and Jason McCarley (Christy) and Shaunna Self (Charmon) all of Red Bay, AL and eight grandchildren – Anthony McCarley, Magean Kemp, Gage McCarley, Ashley Watson, Kayla Thompson, Marenda McCarley, Bayden Six and Braylon.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie McCarley and Lillie Mae Black McCarley, a granddaughter, Marlee Thompson, two sisters, Lois Jackson and Dot Harrison and one brother, Howard McCarley.

 

Pallbearers will be Danny Harrison, Doug Spencer, Roger Spencer, Kevin Spencer, Mike Walters and Cody Watson.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, July 28, 12-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
