Reba Jean Burden Turk – Obituary

Reba Jean Burden Turk, 69 of the Center Grove Community of Morgan County, passed away Saturday July 21, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Turk was born March 26, 1949 in Marshall County to John Ray Burden and Betty Earwood Burden. She taught school in the Morgan County School system. As a teacher she planted the seeds of knowledge to thousands of children. Mrs. Turk also taught teachers how to enhance their abilities in the class room. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and friends. She was very passionate about teaching children and helping others.
She is survived by her husband: Gregory L. Turk; her son and daughter-in-law: Joseph Ray Cameron Turk and April; her mother: Betty Burden; her grandchild: Lilly Turk; her brother: John Ray Burden and her sisters and son-in-law: Jill Mitchell, Joan Ponder and Carlton. She was preceded in death by her father: John Ray Burden.
Memorial Service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday July 28, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with David Skidmore and Harley and Trent Shoemaker, officiating and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday July 28, 2018 prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Clearview Cancer Institute in Huntsville.
