Myra Gail McNair Smith, 69, of Iuka, MS, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, TN. Gail enjoyed singing because it always lifted her spirits. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and taking care of others. She was a caring nurse for 35 years. She was a member of The Bridge at Burnsville, formerly known as The Burnsville Pentecostal Church, and a faithful servant of God. She is survived by her husband, the love of her life and faithful friend of 35 years, L.W. Smith; her best friend and daughter, Tammie Glover (Billy) of Iuka; her daughters, Amanda Lewis of Iuka, Holly Barnett (Heath) of Corinth; and Brandy Mathis of Glen; her brother, Tom McNair of Biggersville; her grandchildren, Ryan Glover (Amy), Zach Glover (Jessica), Hannah Meeks, Sarah Rast, Kamden Barnett, and Mason Mathis; her great grandchildren, Ben Glover, Emma Glover, Piper Mathis, Amory Mathis, and Kate Glover; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Renner McNair; her brothers, Harold McNair and Michael McNair; her grandson, Chris Glover; and her mother in law, Edith Smith. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, at The Bridge at Burnsville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Friday, July 27, 2018 at The Bridge at Burnsville. Rev. Jimmy Rich and Rev. Charles Pierce will officiate. Pall bearers will be Ryan Glover, Zach Glover, Ben Glover, William McNair, Jimmy Alexander, and Mike Henry. Mrs. Kathryn Glover will be an honorary pallbearer. Interment will be in Cypress Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gail’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org.
