Jason Shawn Allan, 45, of Florence, AL formerly of Council Bluffs Iowa, passed away late Thursday evening, July 19, 2018 in Florence, AL.

Jason was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa to his parents, Edward Allan and Denice McDonald Allan-Jensen. He worked as a contractor in the construction business and was self-employed. He was a member of Southern Legacy Outreach, a faith based motorcycle organization that does works in their community to show Gods love by helping those in need. Helping those in need was something Jason always enjoyed doing, even as a little boy. Jason will best be remembered for his “big heart”. He enjoyed doing for others especially when it came to little children and animals. Motorcycles, particularly Harley Davidson motorcycles, was something else Jason enjoyed from the time he was really young. Even when he was too young to ride them his self he could be found many times sitting on his daddy’s motorcycle pretending to drive where ever his imagination would take him. Jason had a very giving soul. He will definitely be missed by those that knew him the best and loved him the most.

Jason is survived by father Edward of Florida. his mother and step-father, Dee and Carl Jensen of Iowa; his brother Joseph Allan and his wife Danna; his daughter Alysha Marie (Vincent) Washington and her husband, Roger; his step-daughter Shannon Gochenour of Nebraska, half-sisters Jesse (Allan) Husky and Tamara Allan; niece Baylee; nephew Logan and grandchildren Elon, Demetrius, Cornelius and Roger III. Also his “adopted” brother Johnnie Cash and wife Kristie.

Memorial services will be held at a later time in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
