Dorothy Elizabeth “Dodie” (Fleck) Bennett Passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her home in Giles County. She was born November 1, 1930 in Akron,Ohio and was 87 years old. She was a retired from Kistler’s Bakery in Akron, Ohio. In addition, she was a long time employee of McDonalds in Pulaski. Above all else, Mrs. Bennett was devoted to her family and loved caring for her children and grandchildren.

No services will be held at this time.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Dorothy Bennett.
The family would also like to thank Compassus Hospice for the excellent care during this difficult time.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Edward Bennett Sr. Her parents Earl Franklin and Margaret McElhanney Fleck. Step-mother: Kathleen Allegree. Daughter Penny Cramer. Step-sons Larry Bennett, Ronald Bennett, Joseph Bennett, and Daniel Bennett. Granddaughter Jennifer Crawford. Her brothers and Sisters, Edward Fleck, Jacqueline Fleck Norvell, Daniel Fleck, David Fleck, Franklin Fleck, and Ronald Fleck.

She is survived by;
Daughters, Gayle Leon and Lisa Woodson.
Sons, Raymond Bennett and Robert Bennett, Jr.
Shannon Bass, Stacy Hobbs, Lanita Ward, Taryn Heise, Amber Jones, Shayla Owen, Wendy Cramer, Candida Backus, Hollie Briggs, James Cramer, Brandon Cramer, MIsty Cramer, John Paul Cramer, Dustin Cramer, Daniel Cramer, Dillan Cramer, Megan Mosely, Matt Luna,Carrie Bennett, Dominique Taylor, Glenda Jordan, and Glenn Brightwell Jr.
Mrs. Bennett also had numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Dorothy Elizabeth “Dodie” (Fleck) Bennett
