Karen Lee Murray – Obituary

Karen Lee Murray, age 62, of Madison passed away July 20, 2018 after a longstanding fight with acute myeloid leukemia and the side effects of treatments.

Karen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and lived in Ohio, Huntsville, Michigan, Mississippi, Germany, and the Marshall Islands. She was a nurse, a loving wife, a devoted mother, and uplifting friend to many and will be sorely missed. She was saved by God’s grace through faith in her resurrected Lord Christ Jesus. One of her favorite passages is Psalm 23.

Karen is survived by her husband Tom Murray; two children: Angela Williams (Dennis) and Johanna Murray; three grandchildren: Elizabeth Williams, Noah Williams, and Rebekah Williams; and two brothers: Kurt Lineback and Kevin Lineback.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert D. and Anita Rose Lineback, her brother Keith, and her grandson Isaiah.
Family visitation is Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 12:00pm – 2:00pm and a memorial service at 2:00pm at the sanctuary of Asbury United Methodist Church, Madison, Alabama. She will be buried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville, Alabama during a private family gathering later.
