Lewis Fred Gaylor, “The Swing Man”, age 85, of Altoona, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his residence.
His funeral service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Howelton Cemetery. Bro. Gary Smith and Bro. Jeff Bennett will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Gaylor, Zachary Morton, Colby Gaylor, Cory Willingham, Drake Smith and Devan Bates.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 Tuesday at the funeral home
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Iva Yarbrough Gaylor, children, Terry (Donna) Gaylor, Deborah Jean Pankey, Jackie (Terresa) Gaylor, Jeff (Lynn) Gaylor and Tyra (Terry) Morton, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, chosen daughter, April (Danny) Bottoms and four sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Maggie Gaylor, one sister, four brothers, granddaughter, Stormi Morton and daughter-in-law, Canetha Gaylor.
