TUSCUMBIA-Tuscumbia held their Second Saturday event downtown on Saturday, July 14 and while this fun event was in full swing downtown up by the Courthouse Square the Colbert County Extension held a Tomato Sandwich Day event in honor of national Tomato Sandwich day.
Everyone enjoyed a good old white bread, mayo and homegrown Alabama tomatoes sandwich along with chips and a drink. Donations were made to help out the local 4-Club in Colbert County.
