lvin Lee “Son” Skinner, age 68, resident of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 13th at 1:00 pm in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Alvin was born in Franklin, Tennessee on April 24, 1950 and was the son of the late Alvin Dee Skinner and the late Doris Nita Coleman Skinner. He spent his life farming.
He is survived by his brothers: Leslie Skinner and Kenneth Wayne Skinner, both of Lewisburg; sisters: Bobbie Faye (Ray) Ensley of Lewisburg, Martha (Danny) Harvill of Lewisburg, Judy Hollingsworth of Lewisburg, and Carolyn (Jim) Hargrove of Chapel Hill.
