With her loving family by her side, Carolyn Lorraine Meagher Burns passed away on July 7, 2018. Carolyn was born in Whitwell, Tennessee and graduated from high school in Oak Ridge in 1963. Four children later, Carolyn returned to university to earn a Master’s degree in math education and subsequently taught math in Huntsville area schools for many years. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with Ralph, genealogical research, volunteer work, social clubs, and time with friends and family. She particularly loved spending time with her precious grandbabies.
