Charles Earl “Chunky” White – Obituary

Charles Earl “Chunky” White, 75, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at ECM Hospital, Florence, AL. He was born October 10, 1942 in Belmont, MS.  He worked as a truck dispatcher for Sunshine Mills for forty-two and one-half years and as a substitute mail carrier. He was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church.

Services will be Friday, July 13, 11 a.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church, Belmont, MS with Bro. Neville Vanderburg and Bro. Kevin Lindley officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Memory Gardens, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of forty years – Bonnie White, Belmont, MS; three sons – Tommy Lee Crum, Charles Kevin White and Jonathan Burton White; one granddaughter – Morgan Lee-Ann Crum; one great-granddaughter – Paisley Treylynn Doubleday; two brothers – John Wayne White and Robert Lee White and one sister– Mary Margaret Rhodes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Earl White and Alice Lee Newell White.

Pallbearers will be David Hopple, Waylon Bates, Ian Browning, Mitchell Wilkerson, Burton Wilkerson and Bennett Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Credille, Phillip Cooper and Hoyt Griffin, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 6-9 p.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church.
