Mary Ruth Walker, age 78, of Cordova, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Shannon Odom will officiate.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her Mother-Hazel Borden Upton; Brothers-Gerald Upton and Richard Upton.
She is survived by her Daughters-Winona D. Walker of Jasper and Sarah Lynn Thomsen of Roca, Nebraska; Son-Frank Wayne Walker, Jr. of Jasper; Sister-Wanda Spears of Jasper; Nephew-Josh Upton of Jasper; Grandchildren-Nikki Walker, Ashley Spears (Robbie), Brittaney Walker (Chase) and Lexi Walker (Sade); Great Grandchildren-Baby Girl Sherer, Gabe Sherer, Freya Sherer and Ethan Spears.
