Frances Marie Johnson DeBerry – Obituary

Frances Marie Johnson DeBerry was born in Lutts, Tennessee, the daughter of the late David and Etta Bratton Johnson. On August 8, 1970, she was united in marriage to James Keith DeBerry. Mrs. DeBerry departed this life on July 7, 2018, at the age of 72 years, 2 months, and 21 days.

Mrs. DeBerry attended Primitive Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee. She lived in Hardin County for 55 years and worked for Brown Shoe Company for 26 years. Mrs. DeBerry enjoyed cooking and growing pretty flowers. She was a good friend and neighbor to everyone in the Shiloh community. She never met a stranger and always talked to everyone. Mrs. DeBerry made sure to always express her gratitude to her nurses and caregivers.

In addition to her husband, James, of 47 years, Mrs. DeBerry is survived by her son, William Robert DeBerry and wife April of Kossuth, Mississippi; brothers, Edward Johnson of Stantonville, Tennessee. Elbert Johnson of Iuka, Mississippi, and Larry Johnson of Shiloh, Tennessee; and a grandchild, Allie DeBerry.

Along with her parents, Mrs. DeBerry was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Glenda DeBerry, and brothers, Gary Johnson, Doyle Johnson, and Teddy Johnson.
