Ruth Lucille Van Gorden, age 89, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at a local nursing home with her
family by her side. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Arther Charles and Bessie Townley Bertsch.
Mrs. Van Gorden had a Bachelor of Arts degree, worked as a print broker and was self employed.
She was involved in the Cincinnatti Industrial Advertisors and the Cincinnatti Litho Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arther Charles and Bessie Townley Bertsch and her sister
Annie Fagan.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Billy “Bill” Rex Van Gorden; daughter Rebecca Ann Farr (Jay);
step-daughters Pam Eppstein (Rick) and Mary Melissa Zoller and grandchildren James and Chris Farr,
Dan and Ryan Dorfmeyer; Brent, Marshall and Allison Marshall.
