Donald E. Dill, 71, went to his heavenly home Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was born April 27, 1947 to Glenn Dill and Lillian Bell Dill. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a dedicated fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and was retired from TVA as a boilermaker welder. He was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, MS.

Services will be Tuesday, July 10,  2 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, MS with Bro. William McClellan, Bro. Glenn Bridgmon, Bro. Tony Gasaway and Shane McGregor officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of thirty-two years – Rochelle Dill, Red Bay, AL; four children – Michael Sparks (Pam) Red Bay, AL, Cindy Brooks (Tommy) Pontotoc, MS, Greg Robinson (Loretta) and Angel Gasaway (Tony) Red Bay, AL; ten grandchildren – Ryan Sparks, Tuscaloosa, AL, Brent Robinson (Kayla) Red Bay, AL, Kristen Long (Nat) Golden, MS, Heath Sparks (Sabrina) Red Bay, AL, Summer Hargett (Zach) Red Bay, AL, Clint Robinson (Darian) Vina, AL, Evan Robinson, Red Bay, AL, Morgan Prestage (Steven) Red Bay, AL, Dakota Sparks and Makenzie Gasaway, both of Red Bay, AL; eight great-grandchildren – Emily and Corilee Sparks, Avery Robinson, Deacon and Holleigh Hargett, Michah and Amelia Prestage and Mason Long; one sister – Diane Pace (Jackie); nieces and nephews – Karen McGregor (Shane), Wayne Pace (Tabitha), Nancy Terrell (Tracy) and Thomas Dill (Amanda) and great-nieces and great-nephews – Jackie Ann and Lily McGregor, Leann and Wyatt Pace, Cami Rose Terrell and Alex, Josey and Kaylee Dill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Tommy Dill, a sister-in-law, Rose Dill and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Brent Robinson, Heath Sparks, Clint Robinson, Evan Robinson, Wayne Pace, Allen Holcomb and Charles Dill. Honorary pallbearers will be Nat Long, Steven Prestage, Zach Hargett, Dakota Sparks and Ryan Sparks.

Visitation will be Monday, July 9, 5-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL and he will lie in state on Tuesday, July 10, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
