Clarence was born on April 11, 1954 in Decatur, Alabama. He departed this life on July 5th at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Mary Fannie Moore Tucker and Clarence Tucker. He accepted Christ as a young man and was baptized at Moulton Heights Church.

Clarence moved to Hempstead, New York at the age of 15 and obtained his GED. Clarence worked part time at the Hempstead golf course as a caddy until his illness. Clarence also worked at Bloomingdales as a model and security guard, and later retired from the Hempstead School System with 30 years of dedicated service as a security officer.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James Harold Moore and Ronnie Ray Moore.

Clarence leaves to cherish his loving memory: his sister, JoAnn Tucker Brown, of Decatur; his aunts, Elizabeth Scott, of Hempstead, New York, Doris Jones and Dora Tucker, both of Decatur; a very special niece, Regina Corbitt (Eddie), of Hartselle, other nieces, Sonya Elliott, Karmen Elliott, Mekesha Tapscott (Jacqus), and Carolyn Williams (Reco), all of Decatur; and one nephew, Marcus Elliott, of Decatur; and a host of great-nephews and cousins.

A special appreciation and thanks to Marvin Elliott, Jean Elliott, Donnell Stover, and Gean Johnson for all they did to help us in his care.
