Desirae Rachelle Akridge, age 37, passed away June 30, 2018 in Huntsville, AL with family members at her bedside. Desirae is survived by her parents Darrell and Brenda Patton of Huntsville, AL; sister Alicia Swack of Huntsville, AL; brother Jeremiah (Jeremy) Patton of St Petersburg, FL; brother Carl (C.J.) Akridge of Abingdon, MD; sister Amber Gutenberger of Oak Harbor, WA; sister Krista Akridge of Nacogdoches, TX; brother Trevor Akridge of Nacogdoches, TX; 4 nephews; and 1 niece. Desirae was a graduate of Grissom High School and Calhoun College of Huntsville, AL, and a resident of St. Petersburg, FL for the last 12 years.
