THE SHOALS-Shoals Area Pets Are Worth Saving (PAWS) is excited to announce the 4thAnnual “PAWS on the Lawn” celebration and fundraiser. This event will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Bluewater Creek Polo Club in Rogersville, Alabama.   The event begins atbegin at 5pm.   All proceeds from PAWS on the Lawn will go directly to the PAWS animal rescue initiative in Lauderdale, Colbert and Franklin counties. Tickets are available at shoalspaws.com or at the downtown Florence location of First Metro Bank, 325 South Pine Street.

PAWS on the Lawn will be a fun and fundraising event for our favorite “fur-babies.” The following are included in the festivities: Exhibition Polo Match, Silent Auction, Cornhole Tournament, and live music featuring The Charlie Rose Trio. The event will feature dinner by Odette, the phenomenal local-favorite restaurant. All donations made throughout the day are tax deductible and will go towards assisting local animals in need through the many PAWS programs in our area.

About PAWS…Since 2003, PAWS has been established as a leader in local pet adoption and rehabilitation. PAWS assists in finding pets a “forever” home through the Foster/Adoption program, helping control the local pet population through the Spay/Neuter program, and partnering with animal shelters, law enforcement, and other community based animal activist groups in an area-wide effort to educate and provide resources for those wanting to help animals in need. With the help of a completely volunteer staff, PAWS is working towards making Northwest Alabama a no-kill community and place of compassion for all animals.

Please remember that it is because of YOU that PAWS can provide hope and rehabilitate local pets. We thank you for your generosity and cannot wait to celebrate with you at PAWS on the Lawn.
