Mr. James LaWayne “Wirehead” May, age 65, of Guntersville, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. May was born on August 25, 1952 in Marshall County to James May & Ora Freeman May. Mr. May worked in drywall installation in his younger years and later drove an escort truck for mobile homes. He enjoyed reading western novels, watching western television shows & movies. Gardening became his passion after retirement and he loved growing extra vegetables to give to neighbors, friends and family.
He is survived by a host of friends and relatives that will miss him greatly.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at New Brashiers Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Tim Parrish, officiating. Burial will be in Brashiers Chapel Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Billy Skidmore, Mark Jones, Phillip Leak, Michael Austin, Larry Black & Vernon May.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Trump 2020 campaign.
