Jack Lovett, 82, of Hodges, Alabama, passed away, Monday, July 2, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Lovett had lived his entire life in this area and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired from U.S. Reduction.

The funeral service will be Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at Hodges Church of Christ with burial in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges. Officiating will be Ben Phillips. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m., until 1:00 p.m.

Survivors include children, Linda Raper; Freda (C.D.) McDuffa; grandchildren, Brandon (Kendra) McDuffa, Misty (Shannon) McCarley, Jason Lovett, Tabatha (Kevin) Nichols, Kyle Lovett, Alison Raper, Jamie Raper; great-grandchildren, Bailey McCarley, Insley Lovett, Caleb Lovett, Blaine McDuffa, Dacey McDuffa, Greysen Nichols, Brody McDuffa, Elayna Nichols; sister, Donna Lovett Marquiss; special friend, Wanda Sue Lawler.

He was preceded in death by wife, Maeburn Johnson Lovett;son, Randy Lovett; grandchildren, Jared Lovett and Ramanda McDuffa; parents, George Ruben and Agnes Ola Hulsey Lovett; brothers and sisters, James McKinley Lovett, Mary Marie Treadway, Barbara Herndon,
Wayne Lovett.

Pallbearers will be Shannon McCarley, Kevin Nichols, Anthoney Lovett, Jamie Raper, Brandon McDuffa, Caleb McCarley, Blaine McDuffa, Brody McDuffa, Greysen Nichols, Shane Lovett and Josh Armstrong.
