Judy Ann Isbell, 78, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at ECM Hospital, Florence. She was born April 21, 1940 in Vina. Judy was a loving wife, neighbor, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her time to making those around her feel comfortable and loved. She enjoyed cooking for friends and family and opening her home to all. With a contagious smile and loving heart she embraced life with a veracious spirit and Christ in her heart. She was a member of Central Baptist Church for over 30 years. She had many hobbies including gardening, reading and art. She will be remembered and missed by all whose lives she touched.
Services will be today, July 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Brother A.G. Stepp officiating. Burial will be in Berry Cemetery, Vina. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are her husband of 61 years, Robert Paul Isbell; children, Shelia Diane McMullan and husband, William McMullan, Sr., Florence, Regina Lynn Neese and husband, Dr. Lewis Neese, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Robert Paul Isbell, Sr., Birmingham, Christopher Dean Isbell and wife, Shannon Isbell, Birmingham; grandchildren, Carla Connard, William McMullan, Jr., Bailey Neese, John Lewis Neese, Caroline Neese, Laura Grace Neese, Sophie Isbell, Robert Paul Isbell III and Emily Isbell; two great-grandchildren, Mack Connard and Mason Connard and two sisters, Jetta Dorris Bowen and husband, L.V. Bowen and Brenda Kay Holland.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Verona Holland; mother, Elma Leatha Holland and siblings, Charlene Marie Taylor, Dorothy Gene Martin (Mavis Martin), Billy Wade Holland and Jimmy Wayne Holland.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Lewis Neese, John Lewis Neese, William McMullan, Jr., Martin Dean and William Hill, Jr.
